Special poker tournaments with great bonuses can be hard to find, but who knew that poker could become a team event? Well Pokerspace certainly did when they created the Crew Cup, and now the poker powers that be have just created their own team event called the World Team Poker Tournament that pits country against country and team and team. Each country is led by some a legendary poker pro such as Phil Hellmuth (USA), Johnny Chan (China), and Tony G (Australia).
Poker as a Team Sport Only at Pokerspace
Pokerspace is the only online poker community who has create a team event for poker and has given away tens of thousands of dollars over the past couple of years just for the Crew Cup. Even this year Pokerspace gave away a free trip to Las Vegas during the WSOP for the winning crew plus entry into the Online Forum Challenge tournament at the Golden Nugget, which also happens to be the location of the World Team Poker Tournament this week. Coincidence?
The Crew Cup 4 contest might have just ended with the winning crew, M&M's, taking the crown as Crew Cup Champions, but there will be another one started soon to keep players together in their crews and continuing on with one of the most unique and rewarding poker competitions ever created.
